Mr. Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui is a distinguished corporate leader and former Federal Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources, recognized for transforming major Pakistani organizations through strategic vision and operational excellence. With over 30 years of leadership experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Technology, and Industrial sectors, he previously served as Managing Director & CEO of Siemens Pakistan, where he led unprecedented growth in revenue, share value, and profitability.
He has also served as Chairman of Pakistan State Oil, introducing transparent processes and structural reforms that generated significant annual savings. A recipient of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, he is known for his contributions to national energy planning, telecommunications, and engineering development.
Currently, he serves as Executive Vice Chairman of THK Group and holds multiple board and advisory roles across major business groups, including CDG Consulting, F&M (Pvt.) Ltd., Omar Group, YBG, and Zarea. He is also Chapter Chair of YPO Gold Pakistan and leads ventures in technology, packaging, and real estate.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree from NED University, both with First Class distinction.

Hasnain holds an MBA from IBA Karachi and has pursued courses in Technology Entrepreneurship from Stanford University and Venture Funding from Kauffman Fellows Academy. He serves as a strategic advisor, mentor, and board member for startups, offering invaluable insights into product management, business scaling, venture funding, and has participated in Facebook’s startup accelerator program in Silicon Valley. He also contributes as a visiting faculty on industry projects at a business school, bridging the gap between industry and academia.
